How to Eat Fried Worms Final Project

Today we finished our final projects for How to Eat Fried Worms, by Thomas Rockwell. Our final projects were illustrations of all 15 worms that Billy had to eat. I looked back in my book and took notes for each worm so that I could then just focus on my illustrations. If you had to eat a worm, how would you like it cooked?

Ellis Island

In Lit. 1 we have been reading about immigrants to America. Many of the pictures in our book have smiling faces as they leave their homes to come to America. In the video many of the photos show immigrants who are not smiling.

finishing up work in Elis class

finishing up work there is a lot that needs to be done like handwriting, spelling story, spelling comment, spelling sort, and finishing up cubes, fantasy football, reading bingo and math sheets and test. In handwriting you have to trace the words and write it again under it and then you trace and spell different words and letters

Fantasy Football Week 5 Quiz!

Matteo C. works hard on his Fantasy Football Quiz!
Josie uses a divider to keep her work private while she shares a desk with Mateo S.
The line-up for this week starred some players that you may recognize!

Today we took our Week 5 Fantasy Football Quiz. This year we chose our teams based on the players stats from last year. We also had a salary cap of $150,000 to create out team. Eli's quiz was pretty easy. I had to use a lot of division and know my multiplication facts as well. Then at the end I took my time adding to make sure I didn't make a silly mistake. Some of my friends like to use a table to find the score for the quarterbacks, but the running backs and wide receivers are just divide by 10!
